IF YOU ARE ARRIVING BY CAR FROM THE UK, YOU MIGHT CONSIDER THAT THE FOLLOWING ITEMS ARE HARD TO FIND OR NOT AVAILABLE IN FRANCE:

Soda Water (n/a in France - they use Perrier)
English tea bags (for builders' tea)
Baking Powder
Kettle crisps (far superior to local brands)

Stilton cheese (rare in France)
Cheddar, Double Gloucester etc. cheese (generally n/a in France)
